A lot of our self confidence stem from self doubt. Most people give themselves less credit then they deserve by allowing other people’s experiences and failures dictate what they are capable of doing. Fake it til you make it will give you the confidence you need to fully who you want to be and show that you ready to take the next step. We are told by friends, family, and society for so long what we can and can’t do that we start to believe limitations.

Our belief in these restrictions causes us to doubt many things that we are ready and capable of doing. “Fake it til you make it” which simply means to become the person you want to be well before you have obtained the status.

What isn’t “Fake it til you make it”? Some people pretend to live a lifestyle that they cannot afford. They don’t have their priorities in order and spend money trying to impress others. Playing pretend forces one to have to keep up an image that is not really them; this requires too much energy, wastes money and doesn’t help begin the habit of accumulation. “Fake it til you make it” should only be used in conjunction with your personal statement. Any other use will be counter-productive to financial freedom
