Have you really looked at how much money you made?
We tend to look at our expenses and bills before we look at our income in general. There is no doubt the majority of our income goes into somebody pocket, when spend more than we save.
Let’s look at the average Joe that lives in America. He gross over $50,000 a year. For the last 3 years he made $150,000.
Can you guess how much Joe has in savings? Probably $1,000. It’s amazing when you look at your income in that perspective.
Have you seriously looked at the money you have made in the 3 years?
And have you matched it with how much you have in your bank account?
hmmmmmmm. I know you probably kicking yourself.
I always take the 3 year challenge. This is why I save 30% of my income.
If Joe takes a second look at his expenses he may need make some adjustments.
Look at what is important to you. If it’s money in the bank or a fat investment account … Start saving
If it’s traveling every year to the Caribbean is important… do it.
Just remember at the end of the day you are responsible for you! Don’t complain, change your habits!

Saving 30% is awesome. I would love to see most Americans save at least 10%. But, new cars and TVs seem more important than saving. It's a shame.

I save 52% of my income and have been doing so over the last 3 years. A futher 14% goes towards mortgage so, no, I'm not kicking myself.
