I figured out WHY most of us are not rich

We always here the secrets to being rich: Spend less than you make, leverage some debt, compound the interest, start a business, seek other money making opportunities. Invest in your 401k, and other investments such as Real Estate.

Simple, right. Get a job, invest a percentage of your income and live beneath your means.

It's simple in theory. However, We don't live in a simple world.

Things happen. Children need braces, Parents get sick, cars break down, dental bills, lawsuits happens, IRS collects. Hurricanes and other natural disasters. Inflation. Women do get pregnant. Disability, job loss and divorce is common. There are certain things that is beyond our control.

If we live in a simple world where there are no emergencies at all, we will all have a fat bank account.+

Rent, Mortgages, College tuition, food and transportation all cost money.

I mean if we all stayed in a RV and had no lifestyle, we can build a wealth fund more easily. But, everyone has there limits and comfort zones.

However, this is the real world. You can save $10,000 and still be back to zero within months. And it's gonna cost you more money to build back up again.

Bottom line: you can build wealth, but there will be some setbacks. So get used to it.

What about discipline? Yes, but unless you have a high paying job, your bank account will still be low. Discipline can only take you so far you need to combine it with extra income also.

My secret --I try my best to earn more than I spend.

Be content with what you have. Again, easy in theory but hard to do.

For anyone with a strong stomach and a lot of patience could make a fortune investing in the stock market now that's it's collapsing.

A lot of good companies are oversold. GE, Microsoft, Fedex. They will still be here in 4 or 5 years. Nevertheless, the bottom is still around the corner.
